The Wind, the Snake and the Bonnet Plume – are there any names more seductive to a paddler’s ear and imagination? Well, possibly, the Blackstone, Hart, and Ogilvie. These lifetime, bucket-list dreams form the six navigable tributaries of the Peel River Watershed, a rugged landscape larger than Scotland, with deep canyons, high plateaus, forested valleys and rolling hills.

One of the last intact mountain boreal ecosystems in the world, the Peel is home to moose, grizzly bears, Dall sheep, caribou and wolves. Once experienced, it will be the home of your paddler’s heart.

The Yukon Wild operators linked below offer group or customized multi-day adventures into this magnificent watershed. Talk to them and figure out which river will suit you. Just rest assured, they will suit.
