You'll be in true wilderness on this trip. It's rare to see other people, but we have seen butterflies, bears, wolves, caribou and sheep. Yes, there is usually a mother grizzly living up here. If we don't see her, we'll see her excavations.
After driving up a valley with a bustling mountain river, we'll climb an old mining track to the alpine for an overlook of Lake Bennett. The Klondike stampeders floated past far below over a century ago, and you'll appreciate their trek all the more after this trip.
