Indigenous Winter Adventure

Whispering Trees Adventures

Travel into a vibrant Indigenous culture and discover a different way of life, with dogsledding, winter camping and more

Overview

Long ago, people were using sleds as a tool for work and as a fast and efficient way to move across the Yukon’s pristine frozen wilderness. This transportation system has long been used by northern First Nations people for hunting or during the great seasonal migrations. No doubt, dogsledding is one of the main activities on your bucket list when you travel to Canada, but it’s not the only one. On this nine-day experience, you won’t simply go dogsledding. You will be immersed in a vibrant culture and discover a different way of life, with all its associated winter activities and traditions.
