It’s as big as the state of New Jersey, and over three quarters of it is covered in mountains and ice. Here, Canada’s highest mountain, Mount Logan, stands just shy of six kilometers tall in the massive St. Elias range. Sound forbidding? Don’t you believe it! For starters, the other quarter of this park just happens to be the most beautiful, pristine, forested, rivered and laked wilderness the entire North has to offer.

Yukon Wild operators offer tours and outfitting for groups, families, and independent travellers to and into Kluane. They can fly you in for glacier hikes or hiking/camping tours, guide you by raft on the world famous Alsek River, show you on a boat where the trout are biting, take you on the Donjek route to the toe of a great glacier or set up a series of day hikes with all the payoffs and thrills of a backcountry hike, but with a light pack and comfy cabin at day’s end.

Kluane National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Come spend a day or three, and you’ll see why.
