Feel the satisfying reward of achieving a summit just 15 minutes from Whitehorse, or spend the day climbing a frozen waterfall in the Yukon’s stunning backcountry.
At our ice climbing location, we go over basic techniques including pro tips on how to swing the axe and position your feet. Your guide will assist you in tying into the rope and will safely belay you as you ascend the ice.
Then it’s up to you! You set the pace and the level. Our guides are experienced in leading groups of all ages and abilities. Our goal is for you to have a memorable, enjoyable, and safe ice climbing experience. We rest often so there are plenty of opportunities for snacks, hot drinks, and photos.
We run ice climbing tours for small groups of 4-8 people as well as custom tours for school groups and corporate events.
No climbing experience is necessary. We love showcasing this unique sport to veteran climbers and newcomers alike!
