Equinox programs present fantastic opportunities for adventure based learning. Our programs strive to provide a balance of ‘hard skills’ (i.e. using equipment, learning technique) with the ‘soft skills’ of learning about yourself ~ discovering your true potential, taking risks, overcoming fears and working with others. Individuals and small groups (families, traveling companions) looking for learning travel experiences can participate in our regular climbing/zipline lessons at the climbing wall or come on a climbing/rappelling outing on one of the many world class crags and canyons around Whitehorse. For larger groups (incentive travel, conventions, school trips) we provide a variety of Teambuilding opportunities. Platforms for these programs include rock climbing, ropes course, GPS based orienteering, Initiatives and atlatl throwing. All of these programs are customized to meet your group needs ~ leadership, teamwork, trust, communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and consensus decision making.
