Imagine rambling through a meadow of wildflowers or along a sun-dappled stream with your pack dog companions on a carefree summer day when the daylight never fades. Think of standing on a hilltop with the dogs, overlooking miles of forests, hills, lakes, and mountains with no signs of people in any direction.

Our sled dogs keep active in summer by joining us on hiking and backpacking trips. The dogs carry the food and tents. All you carry is personal gear. An added bonus: the menu can be more generous than if you had to carry everything in your backpack!

Our range of trips includes light hiking with spectacular scenery, extended expeditions through remote wilderness, plus combinations with canoeing and other activities.
